It’s Christmas and what could be more exciting for your child than a letter to them from their own Elf on the Shelf?
Make sure you disguise your handwriting when you write it – (use your left hand?), put it in an envelope and leave it somewhere for your child to find. A letter from the Elf on a Shelf is bound to make their day.
Letter from an Elf on the Shelf – Sample 1
Dear [Child’s name]
I am your busy elf on the shelf and have been watching you so I can make sure you’ve been a good boy or girl this year.
I hope you’re looking forward to see what I have for you on Christmas morning. But, first, I want to thank you for being such a good [boy or girl] this year. You’ve been really helpful around the house by [taking care of your dog (or cat)/ making your bed / doing your homework etc]
I have reported back to Santa at the North Pole and I will make sure that he knows what a great job you did this year and how much you deserve your special gift!
If one day, I don’t come back from the North Pole, it’s because Santa has chosen another elf to be my replacement. That elf will want to watch over you just as much as me- maybe even more.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
Your Elf on the Shelf
